Recreational Therapy

Each Recreational Therapy session is personalized to meet the unique needs and goals of the individual. Sessions are designed to be engaging, meaningful, and focused on improving physical, cognitive, social, and emotional well-being. Sessions are held in your home or in your community or virtually.


Laura has over 15 years of experience serving folks with disabilities in various settings.

She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Recreational Therapy from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and minored in Psychology.

She is passionate about serving veterans, people with neurological disorders (brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, etc.), mental health (anxiety, depression, etc), caregivers, and female-identifying folks in their parenthood era.

Laura is a mother of two girls, a wife, and a dog mom. In her own leisure time, you can find Laura baking up a storm, exploring different creative arts, and cheering on the New York Football Giants and the Carolina Hurricanes.
